Went to doggie heaven: September 9, 2000
Passed away due to Mastocytosis

DOG
I talk to her when I'm lonesome,
and I'm sure she understands.
When she looks at me so attentively,
and gently licks my hand;
Then she rubs her nose on my tailored clothes,
but I never say naught there at
For the good Lord know I can buy more clothes,
but never a friend like that!
